Community Development
The Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation (MJP) has been implementing conservation and community development programmes in north-western Cambodia since 2003. In 2006, it officially launched the Cambodia Millennium Development Goals (CMDGs) in Samlout District (Battambang province). Health care, education, nutrition, infrastructure and conservation are all essential elements working together to fight poverty, disease, inequality and ignorance.
