STEPHAN BOGNAR
Chief Executive Officer

In his role as CEO, Bognar designs, implements and manages MJP’s global community and conservation portfolios. Before joining MJP, Bognar worked for both WildAid USA and WildAid Cambodia, an international wildlife conservation organization dedicated to fighting the illegal wildlife and timber trade. He worked as a field agent and international senior officer.

Bognar started his international career at the United Nations (UNIDO) in Vienna, Austria in 1993. Following his work in Vienna, he spent over 10 years working as an environmental, health and safety consultant around the globe. He has a master's degree in International Law from the University of Vienna (Austria) and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

In 2001, Bognar continued his studies in Sustainable Development with a focus on conservation at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. In April 2003, Bognar spent two months providing primary care, maintenance and training for the animals and workers at the Baghdad Zoo, and leading undercover sting operations to reclaim many of its lost and stolen animals while witnessing the war experience first-hand.
SOPHIAK AUV
Country Programme Manager

Sophiak worked for WildAid (Thailand) as Ranger Training Coordinator in 2004. From 2002-2004 he worked for Free the Bears Fun Inc. to help protect Boeng Per Wildlife Sanctuary, Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia. He spent over four years doing environmental surveys and conservation education for communities based along the Greater Mekong River in Cambodia, Thailand and Laos. He has earned regional experience from working for Towards Ecological Recovery and Regional Alliance (Thailand) in 1999. Since 2000, Sophiak has received two trainings (over 4 weeks) on river conservation in Japan. He has a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from the Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
SOKUNTHEA NUON
Executive Assistant

Sokunthea has been working for MJP as an Executive Assistant since September 2006. She formerly worked for CWS as a Project Assistant and was a teacher at Kampong Thom Junior High School from 1991-1998. Sokunthea graduated with her BBA of Finance and Banking from the Institute of Management of Science (IMS) and has completed many training courses such as an In-Service Geography Teacher Training in Kampong Cham province and an In-Service English Teacher Training in Phnom Penh with the Cambodian British Center (CBC).
NARITH MAO
Human Resource Manager

Prior to joining MJP, Narith received a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2007, majoring in General Management. He was past vice-president, in charge of human resources for a private company, and the head programme manager for a local orphanage and community development organisation. Narith has a number of organizational function that deals with people related issues such as employee relation representative, establish procedure/policy for ensuring timely compliance with notice, compensation and benefits, hiring and performance management, organization development, safety and wellness, employee motivations, communication, administration and training. His perception focuses on advancing theory and practice in selecting, developing of local human resources for organizational leaders up on the organization begins and ends with people and human resources are the key resource in creating a quality-oriented organization.
CHAN TO
Logistics/Admin Coordinator

Chanto has over two years of experience in personnel and Field Headquarters management. Prior to joining MJP in 2005, he was the Assistant to the Secretary of State of the Cambodian government for five years. He has also served as a Cultural Anthropologist for UNESCO Cambodia and worked for The Royal University of Fine-Arts in Phnom Penh. He received a scholarship from the East-West Center to participate in a workshop in Cultural Anthropology at Hawaii University in 1996 and he holds a Masters degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Bachelors degree in Archaeology from the Royal University of Fine-Arts.
MANIKA YIM
Account Supervisor

Manika joined MJP as Project Accountant in late 2004, and later on, became the Account Supervisor who is responsible for overall financial activities of the organization. She finished her BBA in Accounting in 2004 and is holding her MBA in Financial & Banking. Prior to joining MJP, She has worked with a Micro Credit Program of Handicap International as voluntary worker and part-time teacher with a private English school.
VUTH MAO
IT Coordinator

Mao started working with MJP in late 2004 as Project Assistant and is currently the IT Coordinator. Before joining MJP, he worked part-time as the Supervisor of the Computer Training department of In God's Hands Center (currently known as the Legacy of Hope International) for two years. In mid-2004, he earned his BBA degree in Marketing Management from the National University of Management. Between his freshman and sophomore years, he worked part-time for Rong Rath Construction Co; Ltd as the Director Assistant/Marketing Officer. Furthermore, he has experiences in ESL Teaching and as a Computer Tutor/Mechanic.
RATANAK SAY
FHQ Supervisor

Ratanak was appointed as MJP’s Head of Law Enforcement in 2004 and became FHQ Supervisor in 2007. Prior to joining MJP, he was a soldier from 1993 to 1996 and a military policeman from 1996 to 2004. As a professional enforcement official, he received gendarme training at Kamboul Royal Gendarmes Academy and training as a Justice Police Official in Phnom Penh in 1999. As soon as he joined MJP, he was trained as a Park Ranger at Bokor National Park Training Center. He has since led seven Park Ranger trainings at Bokor National Park, T’mor Bang, and Samlaut Protected Area.
